Naturally Iowa is supplying Good Natured Family Farms all-natural 1%, Chocolate Milk and Skim Milk Products to Oakhill Day School, a private elementary school in Gladstone, Missouri.

The dairy products supplied by Naturally Iowa are part of the "Farm 2 School Lunch Program," facilitated by Bistro Kids, LLC, Good Natured Family Farms, and Ball's Food Stores. The goal of the program is "to bring local, farm fresh or organic foods from the small family farm to your child's lunch tray."

Bistro Kids, LLC, which is owned and operated by personal chef Kiersten 'Chef K' Firquain, provides Farm 2 School Lunch Programs for area schools. "Our mission is to create a set of menus and kid friendly meals that are healthy, seasonal, delicious, and whenever possible locally grown," said Mrs. Firquain. The school picks up the 1%, Chocolate Milk and Skim Milk Products from Ball's Price Chopper's stores, and the milk is served through a dispenser. The vast majority of schools serve conventional milk in paper cartons.

According to William Horner, President and CEO of Naturally Iowa, Inc., "There is an increased awareness among parents of the unhealthy food and beverage products that children have access to from elementary school through high school. We believe that the Farm 2 School Lunch Program is an important program that provides our children with the highest quality, locally produced, organic and all-natural food products. We certainly hope that the Farm 2 School program serves as an example to other school districts throughout the country."
